You will likely be more social if you are a completer than a beater, but you may not be able to identify with every type. The next time you are around a gamer, you can ask them about their personality and hobbies.

Gamer culture is diverse and largely unregulated. While you can easily identify with a certain type of gamer by the number of screens they have open, many gamers like to keep themselves busy. They set up multiple screens to read strategy guides, watch streaming videos, or chat with other gamers. They play games for the comradery of like-minded people, and to feel a sense of belonging. In addition to promoting a positive gaming experience, many mental health professionals are also finding direct social and psychological benefits of gaming culture.
